Poladroid

I am quickly becoming obsessed with Polaroid pictures. Unfortunately I dont have a Polaroid camera, so I decided to look online to find something that could make pictures look like Polaroids...and here is what I found...

May I present to you...the Poladroid!
I love this thing.
All you do is drag a picture from your computer onto this little guy and then a couple seconds later...out pops a Polaroid picture! It takes about 2 minutes for the picture to "develop" and then it looks like an authentic Polaroid picture!
How cool is that?!

Here are some of mine...

Doing Nothing

I've been reading The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewix lately and it is one amazing book! Here is one quote that I really like:
"And Nothing is very strong: strong enought ot steal away a man's best years not in sweet sins but in a dreary flickering of the mind over it knows not what and knows not why, in the gratification of curiosities so feeble that the man is only half aware of them, in drummingof fingers and kicking of heels, in whistling tunes that he does not like, or in the long, dim labyrinth of reveries that have no even lust or ambition to give them in relish, but which, once chance association has started them, the creature is too weak and fuddled to shakek off." -The Screwtape Letters (page 56)
I found this very interesting. Typically I would think that doing nothing would be better then "getting into trouble." After reading this, though, I realized that much of my time is spent wasted away doing absolutely nothing whatsoever. There are tons of things I could be doing that have more value. I decided to list a few things that I could do instead of "nothing."
1. Make Christmas gifts (its never too early to start!)
2. Blog!
3. Draw
4. Take photos
5. Read a good book
6. Bake something!
7. Exercise (especially after baking!)
8. Write letters to faraway friends
9. Clean my room (there is always something to clean..)
10. Do some yoga!
So there are ten good things to do if I find myself bored. Hopefully I can eliminate that nothing time!
